Oshkosh AeroTech is a leading provider of aviation ground support products, gate equipment and airport services to commercial airlines, airports, air-freight carriers, ground handling and military customers. The role involves operating and maintaining airport buses, transporting and operating mobile stairs, potable water units, and other mobile equipment, performing minor maintenance duties and assisting trade technicians in and around airport facilities, responding to and correcting issues within the facility, equipment, or systems, identifying potential equipment issues, assisting passengers, complying with company safety programs and trainings, and performing other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED equivalent, an active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement, DOT Medical Certificate, 1-3 months of experience in operating buses and mobile stairs, knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, basic computer skills, ability to be badged to work in secure airport areas, and ability to work day or swing shifts including weekends and holidays. Preferred qualifications include airport experience. Physical demands include lifting/moving up to 49 pounds and various vision and physical abilities. The work environment is similar to airport operations with exposure to vehicular traffic, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, fumes, toxic chemicals, cold, vibration, and loud noise levels.
