Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Custodian (Industrial Cleaner) . Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals. Primary Responsibilities: Perform custodial duties including cleaning restrooms and breakroom, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, burnishing linoleum floors, removing garbage, stocking supplies and recommending supplies that are needed, and running errands in a company vehicle. Must be able to work with company supplied small hand tools and electrical testers to repair minor damage to the facility and faulty lighting. Must be willing to work in high areas using fall protection. Duties include snow removal using shovels and a snow blower on sidewalks and entrances. Requirements: Ability to perform moderate physical activity Be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted Be able to stand/walk during entire 8 hour shift, except for allowed breaks Must have attention to detail and be able to modify a routine if necessary Must be able to work outside as well as inside in all weather conditions Secondary Job Duties: The successful candidate must be able to operate a forklift to load or unload the delivery truck. As customer satisfaction is of primary consideration, good human relations skills and abilities and the personality to successfully communicate with customers is essential. A valid PA driver's license and a good driving record are required. The essential functions of this position include the following: Safely and efficiently operate a parts delivery truck to deliver customer parts orders to designated drop-off points and/or customer job sites and to Field Mechanics Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to load or unload the delivery truck Accept cash or checks as payment from customers Accurately complete all paperwork and required documentation Meet the Department of Transportation physical examination and licensing requirements as mandated by law Work regular overtime as required Maintain good customer relation When Parts Runner work is not available the candidate will work as a Custodian Worker The successful candidate will be required to pass a drivers' physical and all applicable tests associated with driving a parts truck Degrees or Other Special Requirements: Relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
