Industrial Sales Representative Job Title: Industrial Sales Representative

Location: Houston, Texas, in office, except when traveling to client sites, local, domestic US and some international



Travel: Approximately 40% (Primarily domestic and occasional international trips)

The Industrial Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This individual will serve as a key technical sales expert, promoting our manufactured equipement and accessories to end users, distributors, OEMs, and engineering firms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within assigned territory or verticals.
• Build strong relationships with industrial clients, including facility managers, maintenance teams, and engineering stakeholders.
• Conduct product presentations, site visits, equipment demonstrations, and trade show participation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, customer service) to ensure client requirements are met.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines in coordination with leadership.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and generate sales reports for leadership.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industrial B2B sales experience, preferably selling capital equipment or engineered products.
• Proven ability to manage sales cycles and technical consultative selling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%, including occasional international trips.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related degree. This is required!
• MUST HAVE experience from process industries, fluid handling experience such as products like pumps, mixers, tanks or heat exchangers, and/or rotating equipment
• Experience with channel/distributor sales models and OEM partnerships.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: DOE
