Execute general maintenance tasks associated with passenger boarding bridges and associated equipment. Perform duties as assigned for the external, internal, and atmospheric corrosion control program. Utilize tools to power wash, sand, and paint equipment exposed to elements. Conduct detailed analysis of corrosion data/reporting. Resolve complex corrosion issues with minimal assistance. Comply with company safety program and trainings. Perform other duties as assigned or needed. Position requirements include High School diploma or GED equivalent, Valid Driver’s License, 1-3 years of related experience, experience with Airport operations a plus, knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting required, computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport, and ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays. Physical demands include standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, working in small spaces, ladder work, lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, working in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircraft and baggage conveyor systems, and specific vision abilities. Work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, outside weather, fumes, toxic chemicals, cold, vibration, loud noise, and working around aircraft and heavy equipment on an airport ramp.
