About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly growing, privately held industrial equipment provider based in the Charlotte area. Their product portfolio includes shredders, screens, granulators, conveyors, separators, and full turnkey systems—designed to help clients transform waste into value.

The Role: Sales Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and sales of capital equipment and engineered recycling systems. This is a high-travel role focused on building long-term customer relationships and delivering tailored technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts across industries such as plastics recycling, biomass, C&D, and post-industrial waste
  • Manage the full sales process: prospecting, technical consultations, site visits, proposals, closing, and post-sale support
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to develop system-based solutions
  • Represent the company at industry events, client sites, and demos across North America
  • Provide regular reporting on sales activity, customer needs, and market trends to senior leadership

What You Bring:

  • 5–8+ years of B2B capital equipment or industrial machinery sales experience (recycling or related sectors preferred)
  • Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and delivering against targets
  • Strong technical sales skills and comfort with engineered systems
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation abilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel 60–75% throughout North America
