Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Manager in our Corpus Christi, Texas, 3142 branch. The Facility is 15000 sq. ft with direct oversight of 7+ associates, supporting 2+ Drivers. The shift operation is Monday-Friday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM including overtime. Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership for the Warehouse business unit, promoting and driving safety daily, providing consistent communication to associates and counterparts, increasing quality in customer deliveries, driving high levels of inventory integrity, maintaining associate engagement, hiring, training and providing professional development for associates, leading and coordinating activities such as unloading, stocking, order selection, shipping, cycle counting, and final mile delivery services. The role also requires maintaining cleanliness, inventory integrity, security of warehouse, and safety of associates and equipment, reporting accidents and issues to management. Qualifications include 2+ years' experience in distribution management supervising 7+ employees, strong background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory, experience in a WMS environment, leadership experience in team development, mentoring, coaching, training, and performance management, excellent communication skills, strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, experience managing delivery drivers is a plus, Material Handling Equipment Certification, and proficiency in OSHA and DOT regulations.
